Diva and Rosie have made us proud!! 

Since Rosie is 17 years old and pretty arthritic we are very careful with her.  She is such a beautiful sweet mare and we would not want to do anything to harm her.  Now Penny had other ideas and last October kicked Rosie several times.  3 years these mares have been going out together without so much as a cross eye towards each other.  We think Penny was just jealous that she was NOT pregnant!  We rushed Rosie to K-State where she spent 10 days as they stitched her wounds and carefully watched her foal.

Rosie handled the rest of her pregnancy great but as she got closer to her due date, we still were concerned.  Rosie went to Drs Wilhite and Frees to foal so that if there were any complications, Chris and Karl would be right there.  Rosie had no problems except making us on pins and needles since she did not foal until 359 days!!

SMF Lady Clarice was born May 2nd and arrived looking like she was a month old :)  Clarice is big and strong as well as having a puppy dog personality.  Chris and Karl gave the OK to rebred Rosie for a 2008 foal so Rosie and Clarice stayed with them until we caught her on her foal heat.  Rosie is safely in foal to TD Kid for an April 2008 foal.  And Clarice is just amazing!  We could not be happier.  Clarice is registered APHA.

Diva went through her pregnancy like clockwork and delivered a stunning firey red colt on May 18th.  SMF Lord Rudolph, or Rudy, is just incredible.  He oozes royalty and distinction.  And like Rosie, we caught Diva on her foal heat as well and she is safely in foal to RH Imprinted for an April 2008 foal.  We had to keep repeating this breeding with the incredible success of SMF Imprinted Iris and now Rudy!  Rudy is double registered AQHA and APHA.

Now for those of you that are old TV buffs, Rudy is such a firey red that he almost glows....hence his name Rudolph.  Clarice loves to be scratched and she cocks her head in just a way that she looks like a doe with her big eyes....hence Clarice, Rudolph's love interest in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. 

Rudy is now in training and under the guidance of Clint Fullerton, Fullerton Management & Training, preparing for the 2008 show season.  A true stud prospect now offered for sale at $20,000  

Clarice had been SOLD and is now living in Texas!
