Stoney Meadow Farms
Welcomes
Felicitas von Neumann-Cosel
2008 date TDB
Stoney Meadow Farms is privileged to be in our fifth year hosting clinics with Felicitas and a 2008 clinic this summer.Felicitas’ unique training methods build upon classical European methods and emphasize technique over strength. She promotes lightness of hand and harmonious balance of horse and rider. She has the gift of mind and hand so essential in capturing the best of horse and rider alike. Felicitas is truly one of the most elegant riders in the world of dressage. She began her riding career in her native Germany where she was first in her class completing the prestigious "Reitlehrer," professional instructor certification, at the renowned Deutsche Reitschule (German Riding School). Felicitas graduated with the highest ratings ever awarded since the German government upgraded the program in 1982, earning perfect marks for training horses in both the snaffle and double bridle.
She has also been the subject of many top equestrian publications and was the featured rider in Sally O'Connor’s book entitled “Common Sense Dressage, An Illustrated Guide” that was published in 2004.
Clinics typically have beginner to FEI level riders and/or horses and are a wonderful learning opportunity for riders and auditors alike. If you have not seen Felicitas ride or teach, you are missing an opportunity to learn from one of the true classical dressage masters of our time.To share this opportunity, KCDS members are invited to audit at no fee.Our clinic setting places auditors with Felicitas and encourages questions and dialogue.
