Stoney Meadow Farms is planning to offer 3 KCDS Awards Eligible Dressage Schooling Shows in 2011!!
So What’s new at the Stoney Meadow Farms
2011 Dressage Schooling Show Series???? Stoney Meadow Farms will be offering a Championship Schooling Show Series in 2011 with the Championships being awarded at our September 24th Show. Great prizes will be awarded to each Champion and Reserve Champion!!! Championships will be awarded by Division (Junior, AA, Open) for Intro Level Test C, Training Level Test 3 and First Level Test 3.
To qualify you just need to earn two scores of 60% or higher at the highest test of the level (Intro C, Training 3 or First 3) at either the March 19 or July 16 schooling shows.
You can ride these tests more than once at a show. Just enter the regular class and then any additional rides as a Name Your Own Test!! It's that simple. No additional fees to qualify or to show in the Championships in September!!!!! Just circle “Sept Champ Class” on the Prize List entry form when you send in your September 24th entry. It’s that easy!!
The September 24th show will also be a regular schooling show…you don’t have to qualify for the championships to show in the regular classes in September!!! Check out our trainer's page for more information about boarding, training & lessons with USDF Gold Medalist Amy Larson or USDF Bronze Medalist Holly Linz, clinics, shows and other events at Stoney Meadow Farms
in 2009 we added a new class - "Coach in your Ear" and it was a big hit!! This class is not KCDS awards eligible nor will the class be placed. Riders can wear an ear piece so that their trainer can coach them through their test. The purpose is to give riders an opportunity to get full test experience with their trainer helping them. Great way to get ready for the new 2011 tests and show season!!
please see the prize list below for more information!
We had just a great Winter Warm-Up Dressage Schooling Show on March 19, 2011!! Even with some rain in the afternoon, everyone had fun and made the best of it.
Knowing that this time of year is just not predictable enough to count on our outdoor, ride times were scheduled in groups of 5-7 followed by a warm-up break for the next 5-7 riders. That made dealing with the rain so much easier.
Once again we have had to turn riders away and we feel so bad doing so!! Entries for our next two shows - July 16 and Sept 24 - will be limited to approximately 80 rides. Don't wait until the last week to get your enteries mailed. Both these shows last year closed early!!
Check out the March Show Results below!!!
Congrats to our High Point Riders Pernille Andree - Open Joy Grisafe-Gross - AA Morgan Staudinger - JR
