We'd like to introduce you to Stoney Meadow Farms. Located in Bonner Springs, Kansas just 5 miles west of the Kansas Speedway, we offer full-service boarding and training in a quality facility.  Our goal is customer service for both you and your horse.  We recognize that your horse is a special investment - both financially and emotionally.  Thus we strive to take away any worries you have about your horse's daily care and provide an environment of consistency, caring, compassion, camaraderie and fun.

Stoney Meadow Farms is a full service boarding and training facility.  We are multi-disicpline and love the diversity of all breeds and all styles of riding!  We offer a CONSISTENT high level of care in a safe and comfortable environment. Our team is skilled, dedicated and willing to ensure that the needs of both horse and rider are met.

Our trainers and instructors are competent, caring, and very talented. With our team living on site, we offer 24 hours of daily commitment with the added comfort of a monitored security system.

We strongly believe horses are creatures of habit and are most comfortable in a routine.  Consistency in care is paramount.  Thus we feed at the same time, clean stalls in the same order and turn out at the same time in the same paddock each and every day.  We only feed quality Purina grains - Strategy and Senior.  And we purchase 8000 bales of quality first cutting brome hay each June.  Our water comes from our own wells and is of the highest quality.   In the winter we warm the water to encourage good hydration.   We take care of the essentials so that you don't have to spend a minute of your time worrying about your precious friend.

Dr Jon Haggard, Eudora Animal Hospital, is our primary care veterinarian and has a standing appointment on Monday morning to address all non-emergency care and concerns.

Charley Mattingly, farrier, has a standing appointment on Friday afternoon and does an excellent job keeping our equine's hooves in excellent condition.

You are of course welcome to use other vets and farriers to meet your needs.

Owners Mike and Maggie Stonecipher have taken much pride in returning this great facility to an excellent quality care boarding stable. With over 28 years combined experience, the Stoneciphers are committed to enhancing the facility and enhancing its reputation as one of the best equine facilities in the Kansas City area.

Maggie's other passion is the art of dressage.  Working with resident dressage trainer, Amy Larson, Maggie considers her dressage training a journey of continual learning.  Maggie has been a past board member for the Kansas City Dressage Society serving on the board for 8 years.  Check out Maggie and her dressage horses under the "Our Horses" tab.

Mike manages the facility while Maggie is an AVP with DexOne, a directional media company.
